I have been writing, editing and helping shape English-language branding and marketing communications for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in Greater China for more than 20 years, primarily in partnership with Ally Advertising. Among the IHG brands I've supported are InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, HUALUXE, and voco. The number of hotel properties I've collaborated on with Ally exceeds 250. 

Hotel materials—fact sheets, rack brochures, special promotions, and the like—are practical work. For the China market, the focus has long been on using Global English to serve both native and non-native English-speaking customers in a clear, communicative way. "COVID-19 and Beyond" is a five-page B2B digital pamphlet (PDF) written in collaboration with the firm’s partners. HORIZONS Corporate Advisory information video

"How it works" is a 90-second motion graphics video providing an overview of Horizons’ client services model. The objective of the video was to provide a simplistic, yet engaging, highly instructive portrayal of how the firm’s clients are served. This has been a real winner for Horizons. Education in Motion (EiM) is a global education company that aims to be a leader in education for a sustainable future. EiM has a family of education brands that schools educate more than 10,000 students across China, Singapore and Korea.
