About me.

Throughout my career as a branding, marketing and communications creative, I’ve consistently delivered dependable, high-quality work for over 25 years. I’ve collaborated with large 4A agencies, small studios and direct clients across a wide range of industries, adapting to diverse challenges and opportunities.

During my 17 years in China (1999–2016), I developed and refined my skills as a branding and marketing copywriter in an environment rich with opportunity. These multifaceted experiences not only broadened my skill set but also solidified my ability to support clients across all facets of creative work. I developed a well-earned reputation as an “agency of one.”

From 2016, I have been working remotely, firstly from New York City, currently from Bellingham, Washington, where I continue to serve largely China-based and China-engaged clients.

Prior to my leap into creative work, I worked in adolescent mental health. For the record, I hold a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Montana State University where I attended on a football scholarship. I also pursued graduate studies in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program at the University at Albany.

I’m an avid reader and runner, with a global mindset.
